Meet Your Peer Wellness Educators:

Breanna: Hi! My name is Breanna and I'm in my fourth year of the Bachelor of Health Sciences, Workplace Health and Wellness Program at North campus. I am an avid movie-goer and love all things horror! I also enjoy reading books in a variety of genres in my free time. As your peer, I am dedicated to creating a supportive, non-judgmental space where every voice is valued, and I strive to be present, respectful, and empathetic. I am open to conversations about mental health, self-care, relationships, life changes, and everyday challenges. If you need someone to be a listening ear, feel free to book a Peer Active Listening Session with me!

Durgaa: Hi! My name is Durgaa and I’m a 3rd year, second-entry Nursing student at Humber Polytechnic. I’m passionate about mental health and creating a safe, supportive space where peers can feel heard. Outside of school, I love dancing, being in nature, caring for plants, and exploring new places through travel and adventure. I believe taking care of our mental health is just as important as taking care of our physical health, and I’m always here to listen whether you want to talk about school, personal life, or anything on your mind.

Paula: Hey there! I'm Paula – I'm in my third year of the Workplace Health and Wellness Degree Program here at Humber. A fun fact about me is that I used to be a competitive triathlete, and I had the chance to represent my home country, Mexico! If you're ever feeling overwhelmed, homesick, stressed about school, or just need someone to talk to about relationships, mental health, body image, fitness, nutrition – or honestly, anything at all, I'm here for you! Come say hi! I am really excited to be able to support you in any way I can :)

Ahmed: Hello, my name is Ahmed Farah. I’m currently a fourth-year student in the Bachelor of Community Development program at Humber College. This commitment to personal well-being aligns with my desire to support the mental and emotional health of my peers on campus. I’m always here to chat, feel free to talk to me about anything.

Sophie: Hello everyone! My name is Sophie. I am in the Bachelor of Health Sciences: Workplace Health and Wellness program at Humber Polytechnic North Campus. In my free time, I enjoy travelling and photography. As a Peer Wellness Educator, I am dedicated to creating a supportive space where students feel valued and heard. If you’d like to talk about time management and building healthy routines, nutrition, strategies on how to improve well-being, or just need someone to listen, feel free to book a Peer Active Listening session with me!

Vineet: Hello, I'm Vineet and I’m a final year student in the Business Administration – Accounting Advanced Diploma program here at Humber. Outside of school, I’m a big NBA fan, I play the guitar, love music, and I really enjoy food hopping. One of my favorite ways to relax is watching sunsets, it reminds me to slow down and recharge. As a Peer Wellness Educator, I strive to create a supportive and non-judgmental space where every student feels valued and heard. Whether it’s stress from classes, personal challenges, or just needing someone to listen, I am here to provide empathy, encouragement, and a safe space to talk. If you’d like to connect, feel free to book a Peer Active Listening session with me!

Whether you're stressed about school, figuring life out, or just need someone to talk to, I’ve got you. Outside of the books, you’ll usually find me vibing to music, enjoying the outdoors, or on the hunt for the best dumplings in town. I'm always open to recommendations. Don’t be shy, I’m here to chat, support, or just share a laugh when you need it most!
