Apply to Humber

Applications to Humber are made through ontariocolleges.ca. Be sure to submit your application by the equal consideration deadline of February 1. You may still apply to an advanced semester after February 1 as many programs are still available, however, post February 1 applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis depending on the availability of the space in the program. To check program availability refer to the Campus/Availability listing on Humber's program pages or ontariocolleges.ca.

If English is not your first language, or if your previous education has been conducted in another language, you will need to demonstrate proficiency in English.

If you’re an international student, you can apply directly to Humber via our International Centre.

Track the status of your application through Humber’s student portal: MyHumber. We'll send you an email with your username and password after you’ve applied.

How to Track Your Application

1. Select the Applicant Tab to see the programs you applied to.
2. Follow the Missing Requirements link.
3. If “Go to Events” appears, there is a Secondary Requirement (test, audition, etc.) that you need to register for.
4. Check MyHumber regularly to track the status of your application.
5. Check your email inbox regularly to make sure you don't miss any email communications.

Admission Requirements

Depending on your program, you may have to complete testing, submit a portfolio or come to campus for an assessment or audition. If your program has Secondary Requirements, you can see the details under Admission Requirements on the program information page.

Complete All Steps

There are still a number of steps to complete before you start classes, so be sure to read Steps 5 - 10 very carefully and contact us if you’re unsure about what to do next.

Tuition Deposit

Don't lose your seat! You need to pay a non-refundable tuition deposit or the full first semester tuition fees (new international students) on MyHumber by the tuition deposit deadline to maintain a seat in your program.

Your remaining tuition balance will be due once classes begin. Refer to the Academic Calendar to check your fees due date.

Bursaries, Scholarships and OSAP

Some students pay rent while others have to keep the car tank full. No matter who you are, you can always use a little help when you're studying. Find information about applying for bursaries, scholarships and the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) so you can keep your focus on school.

Academic Progress

Your academic progress (Schedule of Study) will be updated two weeks prior to registration.

Transfer Credits

You’ve been granted block transfer credit based on your diploma level courses. The block of transfer credits will be reflected on your academic progress two weeks prior to registration. Please note, you are not eligible for further individual transfer credit from your diploma program.

If you hold another credential from a previous recognized postsecondary institution, you may still be eligible for individual transfer credit. Visit humber.ca/transferoptions for more information on how to apply for transfer credit.

If you’re planning on living in residence, fill out your residence application online as soon as possible. Residence spaces are offered on a first come, first served basis.
