Algebra University was established in 2008 as a private not-for-profit HEI and soon after became recognized as a part of the official Croatian HE system through the process of initial accreditation. The founder of Algebra University is Algebra Group, the largest national provider of adult and lifelong learning. Algebra University is ranked 1st in the Republic of Croatia in respect to the overall quality of programs and QA system according to the National Agency for Science and Higher Education. Algebra was chosen as the world’s best organization in the field of education among 3,200 organizations evaluated by Microsoft in 2014. Algebra is a cofounder of the Leading Learning Partners Association (LLPA) recognized as the winner of the 2020 Microsoft Learning Partner of the Year. We are also proud of being the only institution in Croatia that has met the quality requirements of the Dutch-Flemish accreditation agency NVAO. Moreover, we are proud to announce that MIT has chosen Croatia as the location and Algebra as the co-organizer of the first European MIT Innovation & Entrepreneurship BootCamp in 2024.
