Nature Camp: Creating with Bushcraft (ages 7 to 14)

Humber Arboretum day camps are based out of the Centre for Urban Ecology, but campers will spend most of their time outdoors where they will make their own discoveries in the forest, river, meadows, wetlands, gardens, and ponds of the Humber Arboretum.

This smaller extra week of camp is for ages 7 to 14 only.

Creating with Bushcraft

Monday August 25 to Friday August 29, 2025

Bushcraft is the art of not just surviving in the wild, but thriving by re-connecting with nature. We'll use natural materials to make things like baskets and cordage, and try our hands at carving useful objects from wood, all while we learn how to be respectful and sustainable in our practices.

Please note: This week of camp does NOT include swimming on Friday. Instead we will play outdoor water games, weather-permitting.
