The generosity of private donors, businesses, and organizations has had a major impact on the Humber Arboretum over the years. New buildings, expanded collections, important research, and enhanced nature education have all been made possible by the contributions of our supporters. Our ongoing Send a Kid to Camp fund allows children from Ernestine's Women's Shelter to attend our nature camp each summer.
If you are interested in making a financial contribution, a gift in kind, or have other ideas about ways you would like to support the Humber Arboretum, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 416-675-5009.
Outside of our opportunities for current students of Humber College and UofGH, the Humber Arboretum does not have a volunteer program at this time, but there are many other ways you can support the Humber Arboretum and the Centre for Urban Ecology, including attending events, following and sharing on social media, and encouraging others to come and make use of the programs and educational opportunities we offer. Sign up for our newsletters, get involved and help us spread the word!
Humber College is a registered charity (Registration #10749 7273 RR0001) and is able to provide charitable tax receipts. To learn more about the many ways you can support Humber College directly, visit Humber.ca/giving
Donate Your Used Children's Outerwear to the Humber Arboretum
Do you have used children's outerwear that your family no longer needs but is still in good condition? Sometimes children arrive for school programs or nature camps at the Humber Arboretum under-dressed for the weather and need to borrow outerwear to be able to fully participate. We will happily take the following outerwear for kids and young teens:
Bring your donation to the Centre for Urban Ecology during our regular hours - Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
(Please note the Centre is closed during the periods that Humber College is closed, which includes the Christmas Holidays)
Thank you for your support!
