Support Your Students with Entrepreneurial Experience

Are you a faculty member looking to support your students’ learning of entrepreneurial skills, mindset and knowledge? Entrepreneurial approaches are transferable skills suitable for all sectors and disciplines.

Some of the ways Humber and Guelph-Humber faculty members can engage with the Longo CfE include:

Presentations or Workshops

Whether a short presentation that explains the possibilities available to students at the Longo CfE, or a longer workshop on a select entrepreneurial topic.

Longo Family Be Your Own Boss (BYOB) Workshops

A series of 7 workshops offered in person focused on strengthening a business idea and the tools to do so. Curriculum is available for faculty members to integrate this workshop series into their courses.

Mentor Our Students

Mentorship is vital for the growth and success of any new business. The mentors at the Longo Centre for Entrepreneurship share their entrepreneurial knowledge and expertise to support up and coming entrepreneurs.

Mentors provide an understanding of various approaches to challenges that arise during the start-up phase and beyond, guiding their mentee’s growth and development by asking the right questions that help propel them forward and sharing stories and lessons from past experiences to advise, direct and provide perspective to the mentee.
