Launch Membership

Develop your business plan and get growing

This membership will allow Launch members to test the waters by bringing their idea to life through programs and workshops and potentially competing for funding. The programs and workshops offered at the Longo CfE will test the viability of your business idea.


  • Everything from the 'Ideation & Creation" membership plus:
  • Access professional partners, discounts and other perks
  • Get personalized PR and marketing support
  • Work with student talent


  • Members must attend at least five workshops annually to stay active
  • Members must complete a short semi-annual survey*
  • Members will be encouraged to apply for the BMO Launch Me competition*

I learned a lot from the workshops and the various experts in the field. I also completed my business plan, and officially registered my business.”

  • Work one-on-one with expert mentors to further your business
  • Brush up your business plan through the Innovate and Create Entrepreneurship (ICE) program
  • Compete in the Launch Me pitch competition
  • Provide placements or job opportunities for Humber students
  • Access Longo CfE facilities, professional partners, and member discounts/perk

Are you an early stage entrepreneur, or working on a business idea right now? Are you looking for more information on the ways that you can fund your growing venture? Our friends from Pocketed are joining us to share their knowledge about funding your startup. Learn about and explore bank loans, grants, investment and bootstrapping and alternative routes that you may not have considered!


Through this session you will:

• Learn about the pros, cons, and expectations for each funding path

• Start thinking about which path may make the most sense for your venture and goals. 

• Gain free access to the Pocketed entrepreneurship grant searching platform to find funds to support your startup
