Lunch & Learn: Working Mobile

Advances in technology have redefined the concept of the workplace. Today, it’s possible to not only work from a home office but also from a plane, train, hotel room or coffee shop. While there is now greater flexibility around when, where, and how you can work, this increased availability also produces unique issues that need to be addressed. In this session, participants will focus on recent workplace trends and discuss the benefits and challenges of working remotely.

Gift Family, Friends and Colleagues with a Winter Workshop

It’s always nice to receive something shiny and new for the holidays, but it’s even nicer to receive an experience that’s fun, interactive and allows you to learn while spending time with loved ones. That’s why the School of Hospitality, Recreation & Tourism has introduced a range of holiday courses and workshops for everyone on your list.

From wine lovers and beer lovers to aspiring chefs, travel bugs and health buffs, we have gifts for everyone. Please find a complete list of Holiday Workshops included in the attached diagram. Workshops include:

November 24th Pay Day

With the conclusion of the strike, please note that the November 24th pay will include one week of pay for full-time faculty. Partial-load faculty are paid two weeks in arrears, so their pay for the hours worked the week of November 20-24th will be included in the December 8th pay.
