Ann Wallington, Acting Associate Dean, FSCS

Good afternoon Humber community,

I am pleased to announce that Ann Wallington will be taking on the role of Acting Associate Dean in the Faculty of Social and Community Services effective Monday, July 10, 2023. Ann is a successful professor and researcher who began as a full-time employee in the Faculty of Social and Community Services in 2015. Prior to this, she was a full-time faculty member and program coordinator at Seneca College. During her time at Humber, Ann has served on several committees including the FSCS Teaching and Learning Working Group, and Humber College Council. She also worked as an adjudicator on the Discipline Committee of the Ontario College of Trades. Ann has been involved in several research projects, most recently as the principal investigator on a three-year project funded through NSERC – CCSIF. Ann holds a Master of Laws from York University Osgoode Hall Law School, a Master of Arts from Central Michigan University, a Bachelor of Arts from Laurentian University, and a certificate in adjudication from Osgoode Hall Law School/Society of Ontario Adjudicators and Regulators. 
 
In February 2023, Ann began a secondment as an Academic Program Manager supporting the Bachelor of Social Science - Criminal Justice, and Child and Youth Care programs (Diploma and Bachelor degree) and has been instrumental in this role and has shown exemplary leadership. Ann will continue to support these programs in the new role as well.
