Bob Botham, Director, Information Technology Services

After a 43 year association with Humber College, Bob Botham will be retiring from Humber at the end of this month as a Director within the Information Technology Services department.  Over this time, Bob has had a unique opportunity to see the growth and evolution of Humber.   In addition to noting how Humber has grown in terms of students and programs, Bob recalls how the institution has evolved from “a couple of buildings and a barn” in a rural setting to two modern urban campuses.

Bob’s personal association with Humber started as a student.  After graduating, Bob became an employee of Humber and held numerous positions with the college.  During this time, Bob was involved with and led many initiatives that introduced technology and computing to support administration and the delivery of academic curriculum.

Over the years, Bob has had the opportunity to serve on many of the college committees including Academic Council.  Bob also had the opportunity to represent Humber on external committees.  Over the last twelve years, Bob has been a member of the board of directors of GTAnet, a regional network in the Greater Toronto Area that supports education, research, health and the public sector community.

On behalf of the Humber community, please join me in wishing Bob all the best in his retirement.
