Electronic Hygiene Monitor for Campus Washrooms

To maintain Humber College’s commitment to a healthy and clean environment, electronic hygiene monitors have been introduced to 25 public washrooms across North and Lakeshore Campuses. Humber College Facilities Management and Sodexo Canada have collaborated to use this technology to continue the focus on maintaining excellent housekeeping quality standards by utilizing accurate data collection.

Features of the hygiene monitor include:

  • Inspection schedule synced into the monitoring unit
  • Digital countdown monitor to notify the general public on the next scheduled inspection time
  • Built-in reporting software used for analysis and performance monitoring

The installation of the hygiene monitors is a very effective self-reporting tool and is one of many approaches that Sodexo is taking to continuously improve their commitment to cleanliness and quality of service.
