Free, Secure Wi-Fi: Eduroam is a secure, high-speed, wireless, Internet solution available across all Humber campuses (including Guelph-Humber) for use by Humber and Guelph-Humber students, employees, suppliers, and guest Humber accounts.
Your Eduroam username is your Humber username with “@humber.ca” tacked to the end. Example: n12345678@humber.ca.
ONECard: Introducing the Humber and University of Guelph-Humber Virtual ONECard. ONECard is a smartphone application that serves as your digital identification, digital key, and digital wallet solution for campus-wide services. It’s free, easy to use, and secure. Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) & Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): Protecting your account has never been easier. MFA and SSPR help keep your account secure by adding additional forms of authentication when logging in. Even if someone steals your password, they cannot access your account unless they also have your mobile device or authenticator app. Learn more about SSPR and MFA at the Get Secure website.
Urgent In-Classroom AV Technical Support: Using your mobile device camera and photo app, faculty can now scan QR codes (located on or near the lectern) for a quicker more efficient AV technical support experience. With a simple scan, faculty can report an issue and a technician is immediately dispatched. Use your mobile device camera to scan the QR Code or visit humber.ca/avsupport.
Microsoft 365: Humber staff and faculty have access to a variety of Microsoft 365 applications. This service includes popular tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, along with additional resources for collaboration and productivity. You can work from anywhere at any time and collaborate seamlessly with colleagues. Microsoft Outlook serves as Humber’s email tool, providing robust email, calendar, contact, and task management capabilities. Microsoft Teams: Meetings in Microsoft Teams allow for audio, video, and document sharing. Most laptops or tablets have cameras and microphones already installed, making it easy to connect and collaborate. Additionally, Teams Voice is now available for staff, providing a comprehensive communication solution. Visit the Teams Voice website to learn more.
Humber TV: Stay informed about campus events and updates with our digital signage. With over one hundred individual screen locations on campus, including twelve large-scale video walls, Humber TV keeps you connected with what's happening around you.
Laptop Loans: Forgot your laptop at home? Is your laptop broken? Humber ITS offers a laptop loan service for staff and faculty. You can borrow a laptop for short-term use by visiting the Tech Zone. This service ensures you have the necessary tools to continue your work without interruption.
Campus Compass: If you’re navigating Humber’s campuses, the Campus Compass app is your go-to tool. It helps you find classrooms, services, and amenities across North, Lakeshore, University of Guelph-Humber, and International Graduate School locations. With indoor wayfinding technology and accessible route options, getting around is a breeze. Visit the Campus Compass website to download the app today.
