Holiday Campus Closure
North Campus, University of Guelph-Humber, Lakeshore Campus and Humber IGS will be CLOSED effective Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 6 p.m. and reopens Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 7 a.m.
NO ACCESS for students, employees, and the public to:
- Campus buildings
- Learning commons spaces
- Campus services
- Open Access labs
- Child Care Centre
- Student Residences*
*Student Residence buildings operate on a separate closure schedule. For more details, please visit humber.ca/residence/important-dates.
The Department of Public Safety will continue to provide security services 24-hours-a-day during the campus closure.

We encourage employees to take the rest period, however, if employees in your area wish to be on campus over the holidays, please ensure that each employee submits a note to Nancy Deason, Public Safety prior to Wednesday, December 20 specifying date/times and location.
North Campus: Testing of emergency messages and the public address system will take place on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. If you plan to attend campus during this time, please note that emergency messages will be broadcasted over the PA system intermittently during this time. If you must attend campus, it would be best to arrive after testing is complete.
