Humber College is a Center for Sustainability Across the Curriculum

Humber College has joined 13 other institutions across North America to become a “Center for Sustainability Across the Curriculum,” in partnership with the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE).

The “Centers for Sustainability Across the Curriculum” program aims to accelerate the infusion of sustainability content into curriculums.

This partnership aligns with the Humber Learning Outcome (HLOs) framework, which is part of Humber’s 2018-2023 Strategic Plan. The HLO framework identified Sustainability as one of three key mindsets that unite the Humber community and guide the behaviour and actions of Humber graduates in work and life.

Humber College has been a member of AASHE for several years, and this exciting new partnership will advance our efforts to be a national leader in sustainable campuses.
