Humber College entered an educational partnership agreement with Divinity Group to provide support to Accelerate Her Future (AHF), effective July 6, 2021. AHF is a social impact and career accelerator for self-identifying Black, Indigenous, and women of colour in pursuing careers in business and STEM.
The Educational Partnership will support AHF programming focused on students and recent graduates including the Fellowship Circle and Summit. Applicants who will participate in AHF programs will be chosen by the Accelerate Her Future team.
Fellowship Circle
Accelerate Her Future Fellowship Circle is a by-application program for self-identifying Black, Indigenous, women of colour women giving them the foundation they will need to accelerate their career in business and STEM. This highly curated experience provides small group mentorship, career learning labs, and the opportunity to network with managers and leaders from industry.
The final applicants will be selected based criteria including: meeting eligibility criteria, availability to attend weekly programming, clear expression what career goals aligned with the program goals, views about equity, diversity, inclusion and justice, leadership potential growth mindset and commitment to the value of the fellowship and community.

AHF Summit
Themed Leading with Audacity, the AHF Summit 2021 is an inspiring and purposefully curated 3-day virtual summit for self-identifying Black, Indigenous, and women of colour (BIWOC) pursuing careers in business and STEM and active allies from postsecondary and industry. Attendees have the opportunity to connect with community and hear powerful changemaker talks, engage in learning sessions, grow their network and meet employers at the Career Expo.
The Virtual Summit takes place November 5 to 7, 2021. Limited tickets available.
