Humber Research Announces the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada Institutional Grant (SIG) Award for 2012/2013!

Humber Research is pleased to announce the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada Institutional Grant (SIG) award for 2012/13. The following proposal was recommeded for funding by the SIG Adjudication Committee and approved by the Dean, Research:

Project: The Management and Administration of Government Communications in Canada

SSHRC provides annual block grants that help eligible Canadian postsecondary institutions fund small-scale research activities by their faculty in social sciences and humanities. Humber Research uses these SIG funds to award, through a competitive process, individual grants in the amount of $5,000 per annum (# of projects awarded depends on $ amount received from SSHRC) to support research activities.

Please note that the next SIG cycle will be announced in December 2012 for the 2013/14 fiscal year.
