As we continue to work and learn at home, it’s important to stay connected to our colleagues and our community. To help keep us all connected, we created the #HumberAtHome series. We want to know about how you are taking care of your well-being right now, how your teams are adding a bit of fun into your interactions, and which resources are helping you.
Here are some examples of what members of the Humber community are doing to bring their community together:
Faculty of Media & Creative Arts
At 7 p.m. tonight, second-year Theatre students are presenting a remote production of Carlo Gozzi's 1765 commedia dell'arte classic, The Green Bird. The dark fantastical comedy is directed by Adam Paolozza. John Millard is the composer/music director, Sharon Moore is the choreographer/movement coach, Heather Hill is the voice coach, Adriana Bogaard is the curating designer, and Shayna Robinson is the assistant director. All are welcome to watch here, password – 320961.
Humber Lakeshore
Hello is the most powerful word against loneliness and Humber Lakeshore has started a great initiative in declaring Wednesdays as Hello-gram days. It's pretty simple to brighten someone's day. Record your 5 – 10 second hello-gram and send it to @humberlakeshore via messages with your account and your friend’s account to tag. Let's all say more hellos!
Career Services
