As part of our management stream of programming, Learning & Development is pleased to once again offer the Management Essentials: Active Leadership program*. This two-day program* will be facilitated by Adrienne Serrao from Global Knowledge.

*Prerequisite: DiSC for Managers (Offered on April 30)
Note: If you already have taken the DiSC Workshop for Managers, you do not need to take the DiSC course again.
Program Objectives:
- Assess personal leadership behaviours and attitudes that impacts others’ performance
- Plan and deliver clear, concise communication to direct, guide and engage employees
- Understand what people need in order to change a behaviour or practice
- Determine how ability and motivation impact performance and outcomes
- Explore three different leadership styles and when they should be used
- Match the appropriate leadership style to individuals and specific tasks
- Differentiate between "coaching for your role" versus "coaching for career"
- Provide behavioural feedback that recognizes and rewards employee performance
- Assess performance gaps and improve task performance
- Coach, reinforce and create a motivational climate for employee growth and retention
- Create a personal development plan based on assessed leadership strengths and development
Refreshments will be available starting at 8:15 a.m. each day. Lunch will be provided each day.
You will receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of the program.
