Michael Thompson
Equity Generalist

The Centre for Human Rights, Equity & Diversity | HR Services is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Thompson as the full-time Equity Generalist at the Centre for Human Rights, Equity & Diversity.

Michael is a Humber graduate who obtained his Bachelor of Arts graduate degree in Human Resources Management. He also has a diploma in Communication Studies from the University of Guyana.

Michael has been working with the Centre for Human Rights, Equity, & Diversity on short-term contracts for approximately one year. During this time, Michael assisted with human rights investigations, AODA documentation of various projects and represented Humber at a number of community events.

During his time at Humber, Michael has demonstrated his commitment to increasing diversity and inclusion in Humber’s learning, working and living environments at the College.

In his role at Humber, Michael will be reporting to Nancy Simms, Director, Centre for Human Rights, Equity & Diversity | HR Services.
