Key Safety Tips During Snow and Ice Conditions

Commuting and Parking Lots

• Keep a safe distance from other vehicles.
• Use designated walkways and avoid shortcuts that may not be cleared.
• Step carefully when exiting your vehicle; icy patches may be hard to see.

Walking through Snowy Conditions

• Use handrails on stairs and ramps.
• Wear proper winter footwear with good traction.
• Wipe your shoes thoroughly when entering the building.
