Retirement: Simka Delevska

After 15+ years of outstanding service and dedication to the Humber community, our beloved Simka Delevska has decided to retire at the end of February 2021.

Simka joined the Office of the Registrar in September 2003, and began her journey at the Customer Service/Welcome Desk before becoming a Contact Centre Advisor where she continued to showcase exemplary skills providing guidance, solutions, and compassion to our students.

In February 2013, Simka was promoted to a Contact Centre Coordinator, where she provided expert guidance to our staff and exhibited remarkable leadership, dependability, and enthusiasm.

For many years, Simka has brought warmth and energy to the Office of the Registrar, and has been a valuable and well-respected resource for all. Simka has been a cornerstone in the Contact Centre and is renowned for always being the first one to lend a helping hand to anyone. Her energetic personality, dedication, and selfless hard work are an example for everyone to follow.

It is bittersweet to see Simka go, not only are we losing an extraordinary member of the Humber team, but also the creator of the famous and most scrumptious Simka Donuts.

Simka will be greatly missed, but we are happy that she can enjoy this next chapter of life with her family.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to Simka for her remarkable contributions to Humber. On behalf of the Office of the Registrar and the Humber community at large, we wish Simka all the best in retirement.

We invite you to join us for a virtual farewell celebration in Simka’s honour on Friday, February 26 from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

We have also created a virtual card for those who wish who would like to send Simka their best wishes, please feel free to add a GIF or photo.

Thank you,
