All week long, Occupational Health and Safety Services posted health and safety-related information to celebrate Safety and Health Week. In case you missed any of the previous posts, they are attached to this post. Together, we can create safe workplaces and communities.
As promised, today’s announcement offers the opportunity to win some prizes with our photo contest! We would like to invite all employees to submit a photo for a chance to win one of three $15 gift cards to the Campus Bookstore. For your chance to win, all you have to do is email a photo to healthandsafety@humber.ca related to one of the four topics that were presented in the Communiqué earlier this week. It is your choice which topic you choose, but the photo must be relevant to that topic. Be sure to review each post as we provided some photo hints that you may want to consider (or feel free to use your imagination). Photos will be judged by members of Humber’s Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committees. Winners will be selected based on the relevance to the chosen topic, and the showcasing of Humber pride and spirit (let us celebrate Humber’s health and safety practices across our beautiful campuses). As a reminder, the four topics are:
- Health and Safety-Related Training
- Building and Electrical Safety
- Personal Protective Equipment
- Overall Health, Safety, and Wellbeing
We will be accepting entries until the end of day on Friday, May 17, 2024. Winners will be contacted by email by Friday, May 31, 2024.
