Financial Services and Planning is excited to announce the upcoming release of our new budget tool to the college for the 2022-23 budget planning period. Humber has partnered with Questica Budget in order to improve the annual budget and forecasting process for all budget holders. This online, synchronous tool will manage the entire budget process, from pre-populated budget screens, through an integrated workflow, and into the fiscal year including budget transfers and amendments. No more manually generated spreadsheets and forms. Many processes will be automated and some will be enhanced to improve user experience and available to all users on-demand. Questica also introduces new detailed reporting and helpful dashboards to work alongside your existing suite of reports to keep track of your budget activities. This all-in-one tool will be a great improvement over our previous processes, and we are looking forward to upcoming training and release of the product.

One of our final activities before go-live will be our User Acceptance Testing (UAT). In order for us to be confident in all the system functions, we will need some volunteers to help test the system one last time. Over the next week, we will continue to reach out to each department to understand your budget user needs and to solicit participation in UAT.  These testers will also help act as project champions, working with their departments to spread the good word of Questica Budget. Now is the time for budget enthusiasts to step forward and participate!
