You Should Know... The Centre for Human Rights, Equity & Diversity

The Centre for Human Rights, Equity & Diversity’s (Centre) mandate is to address complaints based on the seventeen (17) grounds of discrimination as outlined by the Ontario Human Rights Code as well as Psychological Harassment/Bullying as outlined in Section 32 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

The seventeen (17) grounds of discrimination are outlined in the table below in random order:

The Centre has a legal obligation to conduct investigations in response to matters that fall within any of the areas outlined above and in accordance with the process outlined in Humber’s Complaint Resolution Procedure.
