There is still space in the workshop Voice Improvement Coaching on November 21.
Do you spend a lot of time talking at meetings, over the phone, one-on-one, or speaking to large groups? Does your voice get tired by the end of the day? Do you feel you speak too softly or quickly?
Your voice is an important tool for communication and it has a profound impact on your listeners. The sound of your voice either pushes people away or draws people in.

In this workshop you will learn:

Learning & Development
In this fundamental workshop, we will explore human-centered design, a design management framework that develops solutions to problems by involving the human perspective in all steps of the problem-solving process. Understanding this framework is the underpinning of design thinking and a critical first step towards creating change within organizations.
Lunch will be provided.
Feel free to bring your laptop so you can follow along with the information.
If you cannot attend but are interested in learning more, please connect with us (research@humber.ca).

Since 2014, Humber College has been hosting an annual gathering called the Indigenous Knowledge Gathering. Over the past six years, thousands of Indigenous and non-Indigenous learners have gathered to share ideas on a variety of topics. Each year the gathering grows and explores new areas of conversation!
For the 2019/2020 academic year, we are excited to announce our upcoming #IndigenousKnowledgesGathering will be happening this fall from November 21 to 23.
Educating the Heart, Mind, Body and Spirit

IKG will feature an exciting program of keynote presentations, networking, interactive workshops, and breakout discussion circles, alongside rich cultural programming.
