As part of our Management Development curriculum, we are pleased to once again offer THE MANAGEMENT ESSENTIALS (ACTIVE LEADERSHIP) PROGRAM.

THE MANAGEMENT ESSENTIALS (ACTIVE LEADERSHIP) PROGRAM provides the concepts and practices of leadership in a high-impact learning environment to help leaders effectively coach, empower and lead individuals and teams to higher levels of performance.
This is a three-day program.

New and existing managers, associate deans and associate directors with direct reports.

Back by popular demand, HumberLaunch's Fall Workshop Series will provide you with the tools you need to grow and develop your business ideas.

Join us for our fifth workshop session on crowdfunding. Sean Stanleigh, the Co-Founder of The Entrepreneurship Society and Product Manager at The Globe and Mail, will be the lead facilitator speaking about different crowdfunding options. 

Entrepreneurs who attend at least four out of the six workshops will be entered into a pitch competition. Successful participants will become HumberLaunch members, receiving access to the many resources offered by HumberLaunch.

Humber College's School of Social and Community Services and the Humber L-Space Gallery is hosting an exhibition on Aging and Diversity curated by PhotoSensitive. The exhibit is a series of stunning black and white photos and stories about aging by leading Canadian photographers. The opening event is on Thursday, November 26th from 11 AM - 12:30 PM. It is a thought provoking exhibit about aging and will also be a great opportunity for networking and sharing ideas. Lunch is provided. Register is required for the opening.

The exhibit is on from November 24th - December 7th. Faculty are welcome to book 45 minute class interactive tours that include a reflection exercise. A faculty guidebook is available to assist in connecting the exhibit with your course curriculum. Aging is an issue that effects us personally and across all job sectors.
