The purpose of this Event Notice is to inform the Humber Community of increased external activity on the North Campus during the gap between semesters.

The Ontario Association for Mathematic Education (OAME) are hosting their 42nd Annual Conference at Humber’s North Campus on May 7th – May 9th. This is the 2nd year in a row that OAME are hosting their conference at Humber College!

After the success of the 2014 Conference, OAME are expecting another large turnout of around 1500 attendees. If you wish to know more about the OAME Conference, please check out their website oame2015.ca/

The event will boast over 300 educational sessions, spread throughout the North Campus buildings. The keynote session will take place in the Gymnasium, with exhibitors set up in the Student Centre and Registration in the E Building Concourse.

Attendees of the Conference will be parking in lots 1, 4, 5 and 6. Conference Services recommend that you plan for a slight delay in parking on May 7th, 8th and 9th if you normally enter through Entrance A.

Additional updates will be communicated closer to the Conference.

Please send any questions to Humber Conference Services either at HCS@humber.ca or call Conference Coordinator Arielle Berube directly at ext. 77312 or Conference Assistant Jennifer O’Hare directly at ext. 77151.
