To support Humber’s Strategic Plan Priority of being a “national leader in sustainable campuses”, we are pleased to announce that Lindsay Walker’s new title is Associate Director, Sustainability. This will allow Lindsay to continue her strategic role in developing, launching and implementing the new five-year Campus Sustainability Plan 2019–2024. Focus will be on fostering a culture of sustainability at Humber that touches every aspect of the organization, collaborating with related institutional strategic priorities, while overseeing a wide range of campus and community initiatives.

Since 2012, Lindsay has been responsible for the huge success of the Humber Sustainability strategy. Notable recognition includes Humber being named one of Canada’s Greenest Employers four years running, Fair Trade certification at North and Lake Campuses, an ILO related to sustainability and the first Zero Carbon certified retrofit in the country.
