Facilitator: Carol Agocs, PhD, is a Professor Emerita in the Department of Political Science at Western University in London, Ontario. Her research and publications address issues of racial and gender inequality and discrimination in employment and employment equity policy and its implementation, as well as topics in local governance.
Her publications include Employment Equity in Canada: The Legacy of the Abella Report, Workplace Equality: International Perspectives on Legislation, Policy and Practice, and Employment Equity: Cooperative Strategies for Organizational Change, as well as many chapters and journal articles.
Carol has served as an expert witness in employment discrimination cases and has been active in community organizations. Carol has also addressed academic conference sessions on employment equity topics.
