Todd Le Blanc, Associate Director, IGS Student Experience

I am pleased to announce that Todd Le Blanc will be joining the International Graduate School team on November 1 as an Associate Director, IGS Student Experience. Todd returns to Humber after five years at the University of Toronto in increasingly senior roles including Assistant Dean, Student Life and Leadership at New College and most recently Assistant Director First Year Student Success and Transition for the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering. At Humber, Todd was the Study Abroad Coordinator for the Faculty of Media and Creative Arts and a First Year Transition Program Facilitator working with the Student Life and Learning team, leaving a lasting impression and impact on the areas in which he worked.

Todd is a committed student affairs professional and an educator. A certified teacher with a BA in history and a graduate diploma in education and currently working on a certificate in Learning Design from University of Toronto, Todd is a committed life-long learner. A member of NODA: the Association for Orientation, Transition and Retention, and a qualified administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory, Todd brings to this role professionalism and a wealth of knowledge and experience enabling him to build an engagement and success program tailored to the needs of the IGS learner.

In his role as Assistant Dean at New College, Todd led programming for over 6,400 students, more than 50% of whom were international, developing programming in collaboration with leaders and stakeholders across the college. In his role as AD IGS Student Experience, Todd will work collaboratively across the college to build programming to support the IGS learner providing leadership and oversight of student success and engagement initiatives at the IGS. Through a lens of equity, diversity and inclusion, Todd will work closely with functional leads in other departments to develop and implement programs, processes and procedures at the IGS ensuring a positive, professional and supportive environment so that each learner has access to the support and services to reach their goals.
