Frank Cappadocia, dean of Continuous Professional Learning (CPL), has been appointed to a two-year term on the Quality Assurance Framework (QAF) Steering Committee. 

The Quality Assurance Framework (QAF) Steering Committee supports the management of CICIC’s Pan-Canadian Quality Assurance Framework for the Assessment of International Academic Credentials (QAF), with the ultimate aim of supporting the consistency and portability of assessments across provinces and territories of Canada. Members review and confirm QAF compliance of assessment services and competent recognition bodies in Canada. This ensures that Canada continues to respect its obligations under the 1997 Lisbon Recognition Convention (LRC).
