Bring your Donations to the Annual Humber Employee Holiday Party

The Annual Humber Employee Holiday Party is this Saturday, November 30 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. We encourage attendees to bring a non-perishable food item or a new, unwrapped gift to donate to those in need in our local community.

Food Donations

This year all food items will be donated to Humber Polytechnic’s ‘Grab ‘N Go’ food bank, which supports the Humber community. The most needed items include:

  • Grains, rice, noodles
  • Canned foods (fruits, vegetables, beans, fish, meat, sauces)
  • Oatmeal and non-perishable breakfast items
  • Infant foods
  • Allergy-free foods (Made Good bars, gluten-free)
  • Oils

Gift Donations

In support of the Children's Aid Foundation of Canada and Toronto Police Services, the Department of Public Safety is collecting holiday gifts for teens aged 13-19. Suggested gift ideas ($20-$50 value) include:

  • Sports equipment
  • Headphones and small electronics
  • Hair appliances
  • Arts and crafts kits
  • Toiletry sets
  • Backpacks and bags

For every item donated, you will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win exciting prizes, including gift cards to the Humber Spa and the Humber Room, a Chartwells Holiday Gift Basket, or an iPad!
