The GARDENS is currently looking for volunteers for the May-September 2023 season to join the GARDENS Project Pod Squads!
The GARDENS Project features 13 raised garden beds (“pods”) that are scattered throughout South Etobicoke. The pods grow fresh produce, which is then given back to the community to help combat food insecurity. Each volunteer will be assigned to a pod, and will join a weekly watering schedule to maintain the plants!
Previous gardening experience is not necessary - everyone is welcome.
