Just added! Campers aged 7 to 14 can register for an extra week of Humber Arboretum Nature Camp.
Humber Arboretum day camps are based out of the Centre for Urban Ecology, but campers spend most of their time outdoors where they make their own discoveries in the forest, river, meadows, wetlands, gardens, and ponds of the Humber Arboretum.
Every week at Nature Camp includes:
- Nature Walks
- Forest Exploration
- Ecology Games
- Wildlife Spotting
- Pond Discovery
- Camp Songs and Games
Please note: This extra week of camp does NOT include swimming on Friday. Instead we will play outdoor water games, weather-permitting.
Creating with Bushcraft - Monday, August 25 to Friday, August 29, 2025
Bushcraft is the art of not just surviving in the wild, but thriving by re-connecting with nature. We'll use natural materials to make things like baskets and cordage, and try our hands at carving useful objects from wood, all while we learn how to be respectful and sustainable in our practices.

Location: Humber Arboretum (at the back of North Campus)
Time: Camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Drop-off window 8:30 to 9 a.m
- Pick-up window: 3:45 to 4:15 p.m.
