Shovani Samalia is the Administrative Assistant for the Office of the Senior Vice-President, Academic. She is responsible for supporting a wide range of administrative and operational tasks related to Humber’s academic division. She manages the executive calendar and provides support with scheduling meetings and ensuring smooth day-to-day engagements. Shovani also collaborates with internal and external stakeholders and supports numerous internal committees. She holds the position of Council Secretariat for Humber College Council.
Shovani joined the Office of the SVPA in 2019 and has more than eight years of executive relations, social services and human resources experience. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from York University, a Social Services Worker diploma from Sheridan College and a diploma in Human Resources Management and Services from McMaster University.
