The BARRETT CENTRE FOR TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION is hosting Humber Skills Mechatronics Qualifying Competition on Feb 17^th, 2023

Feel free to join us at the Barrett Centre for Technology Innovation to see our students in action. Teams of students will race against the clock to build automated factories and production systems.

Students will demonstrate their skills in:

• Troubleshooting

• PLC programming
• Professional practices

To mark the fourth anniversary of cannabis legalization in Canada, we invite you to attend our hybrid event, Innovations in Harm Reduction for Youth Cannabis Use. We will showcase Canadian cannabis research and education projects designed for and with youth. Five lightening presentations will share new developments in harm reduction, youth-led approaches, and how to be inclusive of the diverse needs of youth who use cannabis. This event will bring together youth experts, advocates, community organizations, and researchers from across the country. Come hear about what’s new and what’s next in youth cannabis use harm reduction!

The Humber Mechatronics Skills Qualifying Competition is taking place on Friday, March 11 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Magna Mechatronics Training Room on the 2nd floor of the Barrett CTI (CTI 210).
