Courses not appearing

Students usually receive access to their Blackboard courses 2-3 days before the start date of the course. Please check MyHumber for course start dates. If your course is starting within a couple of days or has already started, visit MyHumber to ensure you are enrolled in the course. Reach out to your program coordinator if you need more support getting registered.

How to Login to Blackboard


•    If you are logging in for the first time, you will be given a temporary password by ITS.

•   To login at, enter your username (the same username you use for MyHumber) and then add e.g.

•    If you have any issues with your password, contact the ITS service desk by calling: 416-675-6622 ext. 8888 then select 0 or visit this link

Course Showing As “Private”

Your instructor has set the course to private as it may have not started yet or they may be working on the course site. The course should be available by the start date, if it is not, you can reach out to your instructor by using the Messages tool in the Blackboard dashboard or their Humber email address. If you have any trouble getting in touch with the instructor, contact your program coordinator.
