16 Days of Clothing

The Consent Peer Education Program invites you to show your support for 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence by collecting gently used winter clothing.

Starting on Monday, November 25, 2019 to Tuesday, December 10, 2019 we will be holding a 16-day long clothing drive. For every item of clothing you donate, you will receive a raffle ticket for the chance to win a grand prize of a $50 gift card!

Clothing will be donated to New Circles, to their clothing drive GLOW (Gently Loved Outfits to Wear). New Circles is a not-for-profit, grassroots agency providing basic necessities to those living in poverty. GLOW offers a retail shopping experience that preserves dignity for clients, just as we want to preserve the dignity of survivors of gender-based violence by believing them.

Raffle guidelines:

  • Clothing must be brought to the Student Life Office at North and Lakeshore Campus
  • There will be one raffle prize ($50 gift card)
  • Clothing must be for winter weather and only gently used
  • Deadline to bring clothing is Friday, December 10, 2019
  • On December 11, we will choose the raffle winner!
