At its meeting on July 17, 2024, Frank Cappadocia, Dean of Continous Professional Learning, was named the inaugural Chair of Polytechnics Canada's new Continuing Education Working Group. 

Representing 13 leading research-intensive, publicly supported polytechnics and institutes of technology, the Group is dedicated to improving the quality of life for continuing education learners throughout Canada.

It will express ideas, concepts, and solutions related to lifelong learning and communicate these to the federal government through Polytechnics Canada's broader advocacy efforts, enabling a more innovative, productive, and globally competitive country.
