In honour of South Asian Heritage Month, we are pleased to announce that a South Asian Employee Resource Group (ERG) has been approved! This new ERG will serve as a space for South Asian-identifying employees to build community, celebrate culture, and contribute to institutional equity through dialogue, collaboration and advocacy.

Founding members, Sonia Thakur (Accessible Learning Services), Sara Hassan (Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences), and Neesha Meminger (Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences) are currently working on the foundational documents and processes but encourage all Humber employees who identify as South Asian to stay tuned for an announcement about the first meeting and a more formal launch in the fall.
