Connections: From Class to Career a video podcast created and hosted by professors Mark Andrade and Michael Spencer from the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Sciences at Humber Polytechnic, has won a Maple Media award for “excellence in media production within Canadian higher education”.

Supported by Humber’s Priority 3 project funding, Connections: From Class to Career asks a simple but powerful question: how does what we learn in the classroom show up in the rest of our lives? Through conversations with industry experts, educators, and community leaders, the podcast highlights how skills and mindsets such as communication, ethics, critical thinking, sustainability, systems thinking, and more translate into work, relationships, and everyday decision-making. The series also serves as a teaching tool, connecting Humber Learning Outcomes to real voices and real stories.
