As a Fair Trade Campus, Humber College is committed to exclusively serving Fair Trade coffee at all catered meetings, events, and conferences on campus, as well as off-campus affairs organized by the college administration, faculty, and students.
This fall, all events and meetings will be offering Birch Bark Coffee as well as locations on campus. Birch Bark Coffee is a certified organic, Fair Trade coffee that is SPP certified, meaning that its grown and produced by farmers that are Indigenous. Not only is it a fully owned and run Indigenous business, but a percentage of every coffee bean purchase goes towards providing Belkraft water purification units for Indigenous peoples living in communities still under boiled water advisories.
