CIHW Invites Students to Participate in a Research Study

The Centre for Innovation in Health & Wellness (CIHW) is excited to collaborate with our community partner, Indus Community Services, for the next phase of the NSERC-funded research study on exploring the impact of precarious employment on international students. Our faculty/project investigators and research assistant students will be conducting focus group discussions across all Humber campuses and at Indus Community Services locations in Brampton and Mississauga.

We need student voices to be heard!

The discussions will explore how job insecurity, irregular hours, and unstable work impact international students' mental health and well-being.

We're inviting eligible Humber international students to register for focus group discussions and share their experiences. Participation will take approximately 90 minutes, and in appreciation of their time, all students who participate will receive a gift card.

Over the next few weeks, we'll be at Indus, North, Lakeshore, and Downtown campuses to recruit participants and conduct the focus group discussions. Please view the attached flyer for eligibility criteria, recruitment event dates/times/locations and to register.

Faculty and staff, please share the flyer with your students.
