Old Ext. 4000 Emergency Number to be Disabled March 14

As part of Humber’s transition to Teams-based communication, the Department of Public Safety is updating its phone contact information. 

The new emergency number to reach Public Safety is: 416.675.4008

The previous extension X4000 will be disabled effective March 14, 2026, with the decommissioning of the Cisco phone system.

The non-emergency line of 416.675.8500 remains unchanged. 

To ensure quick access in the event of an emergency on campus, we encourage everyone to: 

  • Save the new number on your devices for easy reference. 
  • Remember, you can also connect with Public Safety through the Humber Guardian App.
