FAST Students Shine at Skills Ontario in the May FAST Times

When Humber Polytechnic students are given a challenge, they soar.

From May 5 to 7, more than 50 FAST students showcased their expertise — climbing, building, designing, landscaping, and excelling across more than 30 categories — at Skills Ontario. This competition provides a one-of-a-kind platform for students to demonstrate their talents and capture the attention of educators, family, friends, and future employers.

In the May FAST Times, Associate Dean & Principal of the Centre for Skilled Trades & Technology, Michael Auchincloss, spotlights our students’ accomplishments at the competition, where 13 FAST students earned 11 medals at the closing ceremony.

You’ll also find plenty of inspiring stories throughout this edition including photo galleries from the ICT and Engineering Capstone Expos and the AWS DeepRacer Competition.

Congratulations to all Humber students who continue to rise to the challenge with passion and determination.

Warm regards,

Paul Griffin
