We want you to share your ideas about food at Humber College and the relationship between food, belonging, community, sustainability, and equity. As a member of the Humber community, Humber and University of Guelph-Humber (UofGH) students and employees, can take part in one of several open house events (schedule below) with a survey to follow in the coming weeks to gather additional insight.
As part of Humber’s 2018-2023 Strategic Plan, the College committed to building a healthy and inclusive community that prioritized well-being. As part of that commitment, Humber has undertaken the development of a holistic food strategy. The food strategy will explore and provide recommendations connected to the role that food can play in our community approach to equity and belonging, health and well-being, and sustainability, while considering the importance of affordability, food security, and quality of life for learners and employees.
For this strategy to represent the needs and goals of our community, it is important that we seek the feedback of Humber and UofGH learners and employees. This is your opportunity to have your voice heard and to contribute to Humber’s Food Strategy.
