Humber College Council – Expression of Interest

Humber College Council (HCC) is the collective voice of the College in that it is an assembly of faculty, support staff, students, and administrators who suggest directions in which the College should proceed. College Council advises the President on those College issues which it considers long- and short-term priorities as identified in Humber’s Strategic Plan.

HCC is looking for a part-time support staff or part-time faculty representative. If interested, kindly submit an expression of interest to denise.rooney@humber.ca explaining why you would like to be a member of College Council (250 words maximum) by end of day on January 10, 2020 so we can ensure appropriate follow-up.

HCC meets each month on a Thursday between September and May from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. A meeting is also held in June, the day following the annual HCC retreat. At least two meetings per year are held at Lakeshore Campus.

For further information, please contact Risa Handler, Chair, College Council, risa.handler@humber.ca, or Denise Rooney, Co-chair, College Council, denise.rooney@humber.ca.
