This past month, incredible golds and scarlets have blanketed our beautiful campus. While the colourful transition will begin to fade, our students are brightening our world to help preserve and protect it.
In the November FAST Times, we showcase Associate Dean, Carl Oliver, who shines a spotlight on nine Humber students who were tasked to tackle the question “What is sustainable?” at this year’s KEA Charette in Copenhagen, Denmark. We are so proud that Architectural Technology student, Flavia Pinto, won the KEA Charette – the first time a Humber student has earned this badge of honour!
We have many more compelling stories that I look forward to you discovering on the following pages, including Industrial Woodworking award recipient, Jasneet Singh Sidhu and Cloud Computing graduate, Goodness Chigozie Madu, who shares his inspirational journey at Humber Polytechnic.
Warm regards,
Paul Griffin
Senior Dean, Faculty of Applied Sciences & Technology
