Humber to offer its first Master's program

With the challenges facing Canada’s economy, as well as a decades old productivity crisis, Humber Polytechnic is stepping up with a bold and timely solution with the launch of its first-ever Master’s program: Master of Engineering in Advanced Manufacturing. This new credential places Humber in line with leading global institutions delivering practical, industry-relevant master’s education, and it’s one of the first to be launched under Ontario’s new framework for non-university Master’s programs.

The program was designed in collaboration with industry to fill critical talent gaps and boost innovation, automation, and competitiveness in Ontario’s manufacturing sector.

As the only Master’s in Ontario focused entirely on solving real-world industry challenges through hands-on learning and research, graduates will be equipped to lead in areas such as smart manufacturing, robotics, and production optimization. These focus areas have been deliberately chosen as they are key drivers in solving Canada’s lagging productivity.
