Education and Training Solutions is proud to announce that as of November 2024, Humber Polytechnic supports and delivers the Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC) exams.

Formerly known as the General Education Development (GED) exam, CAEC supports adults in achieving the credential equivalent to the Ontario Secondary School Diploma. This is an important resource for the greater Humber community; ensuring more people have access to post-secondary education.

There are five exams that make up this credential: Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Social Studies and Science.

CAEC exams are computer-based, in-person assessments. Exams are offered in English or French. They can be completed at any one of Humber’s three testing centres – North, Lakeshore and 30 Carrier Drive. We also work with partner institutions to support exam delivery outside of the Greater Toronto Area.
